**This giveaway is now closed**
Sorry, I am so late posting this vanilla giveaway for my vanilla giveaway extravaganza, but better late than never, right? Believe me, this one was worth the wait.
I decided to go with vanilla bean paste again, because it is such a great product and I think every baker needs to have this in their cupboard. I am giving away one, brand-new, 4 oz. bottle of Nielsen Massey Pure Vanilla Bean Paste.
I had so much fun with my last vanilla giveaway, because I learned of many new uses for vanilla bean paste and I learned of many new brands of vanilla that I am dying to try. I can't wait to see what you guys have to say this time!
To enter the giveaway (2 Possible Entries)
Giveaway is open to U.S. Residents ONLY
Mandatory Entry: You must be a Follower of Eat Cake For Dinner (via Facebook, GFC or Linky)! Links to Follow are on the right hand side of my blog. If you are already a follower, just leave me a comment and let me know!
Second Entry: Leave me a separate comment with the brand or type of your favorite vanilla extract! Is it Mexican, Tahitian or Madagascar, etc . . . Or, if you don't have a favorite brand or type - just say "I use whatever" (If you already told me this on the last giveaway - that's okay - just tell me again!)
*If your name doesn't link me to your blog or an e-mail address, make sure to leave me your e-mail in your comment, so I can contact you if you win.
Giveaway will close on March 10, 2012 (next Saturday night). I will announce the winner on March. 11th and winner must contact me within 72 hours or a new winner will be selected! Good Luck!
*Note - I am providing the product for this giveaway. It is not sponsered by anyone, but myself!*

ReplyDeleteI use Madagascar vanilla because that's what I can find in this rural area.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try other varieties.
I am a bit ashamed to admit that I just recently started using real vanilla extract. I've been getting more into baking and finally decided to suck up the cost and buy the real stuff, rather than the imitation I'd been using. *hides* So far, I've only tried Rodelle. I really want to try making my own, as I've seen floating around on Pinterest.

ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over to my site and inviting me to your giveaway. I am already a follower, and when I go to Mexico I always come back with a bunch of Orlando vanilla. I haven't used vanilla paste either, so if I win I'll need some tips. I would be excited to try.

ReplyDeleteP.S. I thought I was a GFC follower already, but I wasn't. I am now!
ReplyDeleteIm a GFC follower!
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower....love what I see!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite vanilla depends on what I am making...I mostly use a Madagascar vanilla, but love Mexican vanilla in certain cakes. (Don't know why...perhaps because the recipe called for it)
Jane @ www.artfullygraced.blogspot.com
Oh... I wrote both comments together. So the last comment I said I followed you on facebook and this comment will be where I tell you I want to try Madagascar Vanilla! haha... I just had a baby and am very sleep deprived so I am not the best at following instructions. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am a firm believer that you have to have a good vanilla if you are going to bake! For years I have used Mexican vanilla and almost panic if I get low! I have never heard of your vanilla paste bean paste! I would love to win a jar of it!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I just liked you on FB. I'm also an email subscriber. I love finding new recipes in my email!
ReplyDeleteI've never used vanilla paste. The best vanilla extract I've found that is (realitively)easily obtained is Watkins Pure Vanilla Extract. It is far and away better then store brands. I would love to try the vanilla bean paste.
oops, sorry - my email is bailey_smith_1999@yahoo.com.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn! I just found your blog this afternoon when I was searching Pinterest for a white chocolate chip cookie recipe. Somebody had linked to your divine Orange Dreamsicle cookie recipe. I already made a batch and they are halfway gone (my husband loves them!). Anyway, I use the Costco branded Kirkland Vanilla Extract. The bottle is so big I probably won't get through it all in my lifetime. LOL. I'm a new cook so I really don't know the difference between vanillas. I vow to learn...and follow you! Thanks for the inspiration! :) Megan
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE fan of this product! I most commenly use vanilla bean paste in icings and frostings but this past winter, I used it for Vanilla Bean caramels and they were a hit! Love Nielsen Massey products!!
